Purposes

North East LinkUp Careers Portal is a mechanism by which schools and colleges can request business support to their careers related events and take up offers from businesses in relation to employment, training and education opportunities. Use of the LinkUp Portal is for the sole purpose of careers information, advice and guidance. Offers of support are entirely voluntary and you may not charge or pay a school, college, business or the North East CA for supporting your engagement requests via the portal or use information gained from membership of the portal for commercial purposes.

Liability clause

North East LinkUp Portal is a mechanism by which schools and business can promote and facilitate training, education, and vocation programmes. The North East CA excludes liability, to the full extent permitted by law, for any loss, damage or injury occurring to any employee, student and or visitor engaging in any programme or event or similar arranged via the LinkUp portal by users of the portal.

Opt-in for wider marketing (for businesses)

If you have opted in, we (The North East CA), will use your personal information to provide you with notifications relating to requests for support to career related activities within schools and colleges, such as careers fairs, talks, work experience and workplace tours as part of the service provided to users of the North East LinkUp Careers Portal.

The information you give us will allow The North East CA to respond to your request. In giving us your information, you are authorising the collection, storage and processing of this information by us. We will store this data and hold it on computers or otherwise. We will not sell this information and will only disclose it to other organisations and suppliers that we engage to process data on our behalf. You can read our full privacy policy here.
